These terms apply to the Sport Timer website supplied by the operator identified on this page. Read these terms and the Privacy Policy before use. If you disagree, stop using the service and contact the operator about existing data.
1. Accounts and access
Google sign-in verifies identity but does not automatically grant access. The operator controls enabled accounts and group permissions. Protect your Google account, devices and downloads. Do not impersonate others, bypass permissions or attempt to access other groups' data.
2. Appropriate use and event responsibilities
Submit only data you are entitled to use. Inform participants and obtain consent or another legal basis where required; organizers must arrange appropriate authorization for minors. Do not upload unlawful content, unrelated sensitive data or malicious files, or disrupt the service. Organizers are responsible for event safety, roster accuracy, eligibility and manual review of result disputes.
3. Timing and offline limitations
This is an auxiliary recording tool, not calibrated competition, medical or safety-critical equipment. Capture times come from scanning devices. Clocks, scan quality, browser storage and networks can cause errors or loss. Millisecond storage precision is not millisecond accuracy. Check synchronization, back up important data and use independent timing and manual review where necessary.
4. Data, exports and deletion
Submitting data does not transfer ownership to the open-source author. You authorize the operator to process, store and provide data to authorized users as necessary to supply the service. Exporters must protect downloads and restrict sharing. Ordinary deletion follows the 30-day trash policy. Clearing browser site data may permanently lose unsynchronized records; see the Privacy Policy for details.
5. Availability, changes and suspension
Maintenance, provider failures and other events may interrupt service. The operator does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Accounts may be restricted or disabled for violations, security incidents or the end of an event, with notice and data-handling information where feasible. The operator should provide advance notice where feasible of closure or material changes to purposes or terms.
6. Responsibility and open-source licensing
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available and as is. These terms do not exclude non-excludable consumer rights or liabilities. Third-party services have their own terms. The MIT license for Sport Timer source code governs copying, modification and distribution; it does not replace this website's privacy policy or transfer the operator's data responsibilities to the open-source author.
7. Contact and disputes
Contact the operator through the support page for service issues, data requests or questions about these terms. Parties should first seek reasonable clarification; statutory complaint and remedy rights are unaffected. Traditional Chinese is the maintained reference with English provided alongside it, subject to applicable legal requirements.
